About our organization

Sora, the student reading app, is Delaware’s gateway to the industry’s largest selection of ebooks and audiobooks for schools. All Delaware students and educators in grades K-12 will have access to this online reading platform and the shared digital books purchased under the statewide account. This collection will feature high-quality curriculum titles adopted by each of Delaware’s local education agencies, plus a digital collection of popular ebooks and audiobooks.

Service description

Sora provides access to digital books needed for instruction. Available in multiple languages and formats (read-alongs, audiobooks, or graphic novels). Sora also allows readers to engage with texts by using built-in tools like word definition, highlighting, and annotating. Educators can leverage school- or student-level data to gain insights.

Text access

Teachers can share direct links to titles for easy access or embed links of titles within their curriculum platforms.
