Career and Technical Education Subcommittee

Date: October 23, 2019, 2:00 pm

Location: Townsend Building, Cabinet Room

Pursuant to 14 Del. C. 3310 and 14 Del. C. 104(b)(14) the State Board of Education serves as the "eligible agency" for career and vocational education. As the eligible agency, the State Board has authorized a subcommittee to provide guidance and technical assistance to the State Board of Education and the Delaware Department of Education staff who supervise Career & Technical Education as required under the Strengthening Career & Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V).

Senate Bill 172 - Standardized School-level Financial Reporting Meeting

Date: October 23, 2019, 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Location: To Be Announced

Last fall the department hosted a series of hearings in each county to solicit public input on standardized reporting. Written comment also was accepted. School-level financial reporting launched with the Delaware Report Card in January. This meeting will provide an overview on current reporting and discuss ideas for refinement in the future.
