The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) approves all private business schools and trade schools operating in Delaware. Private business and trade schools are privately owned educational institutions – both for profit and nonprofit – run by an owner, partnership, or corporation. These schools are usually associated with business, trade and specialized skills training.

Please note: The Delaware Department of Education has not issued a certificate of approval for Prehired, LLC or Prehired Recruiting, LLC to conduct a private school or classes or to instruct individuals in business trade subjects in Delaware. Please contact the Delaware Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Unit for more information.
