The Delaware Higher Education Office (DHEO) administers seven state sponsored financial aid programs and works to assist colleges/universities with enrollment verification for student scholarship awardees. To better manage this process the DHEO has instituted a Higher Education Financial Aid Portal that students as well as colleges/universities must use to apply for as well as award scholarships.

The DHEO requires that colleges verify scholarship eligibility for all students awarded scholarships prior to processing payments. The online verification system is called the Delaware Higher Education Financial Aid Portal. This system allows colleges/universities to view a roster of awarded students who have indicated they are attending their institution for the academic year.
Through the Financial Aid Portal, you will be able to:
- View and verify eligibility and enrollment for students attending your institution who have been awarded a scholarship
- View previous rosters of verified students for your institution
- View and download payment reports for your institution
