The State of Delaware participates in a tuition-savings program where qualified students may pursue a professional health degree in veterinary medicine at 1 of 2 participating out-of-state universities. Students accepted into the program will pay in-state tuition and fees at the out-of-state institution.
- This partnership with the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is known as the Regional Contract Program.
- State participation in the SREB Veterinary Medicine Contract Program is dependent on funding each year from the Delaware Legislature.
- Funding will be determined after July 1 of each year for the upcoming academic year.
To be considered for this program, students should:
- Review the Delaware residency requirements for graduate students.
- Complete the application via the online form below.
- Connect with their admissions counselor at the institution for approval.
Completion of this application, and or acceptance into either of the colleges listed below, does not guarantee a place in the SREB Veterinary Medicine Contract Program.
