You can view the standards in two different ways:

  • Discipline by Grade: All of the anchor standards for a given grade and discipline,
  • Discipline and Process Across Grades: All of the performance indicators across a range of grades for a given discipline and process.

For some combinations of discipline and process, performance indicators are labeled by proficiency. Choosing this will include 5th and 8th grades, along with High School.

In addition, you can build a custom handbook for a given discipline, and select the grades you want to include.

Please note, for best results when printing the standards, make sure you choose the landscape page layout in your printer dialog if have chosen PK-8 or K-8. Be aware that some long tables may break across pages.

Coding of Standards

The DE Arts Standards use a coding system that identifies each element of a standard, from artistic process to performance indicator. The code also includes a grade level (for PK to 8) or a performance level (for high school).
