Annual Nonpublic School Enrollment and Attendance
The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) collects annual enrollment and attendance reporting information for all Delaware nonpublic schools pursuant to 14 Del. C. 2704. This self-reported information, as well as school and demographic data, is compiled into the Annual Delaware Nonpublic School Report. The annual student count includes any student who was enrolled and in attendance in a nonpublic school on or before the last day of September.
Nonpublic Schools (NPS) in Delaware include homeschools and private schools. There are two main types of homeschool; single-family and multi-family. In order to have an open nonpublic school, you must register with the DDOE. To remain open, a nonpublic school must report annual enrollment and attendance.
