Secretary of Education scheduling requests
Thank you for your interest in including the Delaware Secretary of Education at your event. All invites and speaking requests should be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance for consideration.
Required information
Please email your request in the following format to secretary.invite@doe.k12.de.us. Provide as much detail as possible.

- Event time (include start time and end time)
- Specific time request for Secretary (include start time and end time)
- Is there flexibility with the date or time? (If yes, please provide alternative dates/times.)
- Event location
- In-Person (Provide location address)
- Virtual (Provide platform and link)
- Hybrid (Provide all in-person and virtual information)
- Hosting organization
- Audience: (Include all that apply)
- Educators
- Students
- Families
- Community members
- Government officials
- Other (Please explain)
- Expected attendance
- Requested role(s)
- Opening/closing remarks

In general, scheduling requests will be confirmed or denied at least two weeks prior to event.
