Search for Licensed Child Care

To help you find the appropriate child care for your needs, you can search the child care list in two ways.

1. Simple search
   The text box to the right of the window labelled “Search” will filter the table as you type. This will find the characters you type in any field, so you can type part of a name, a city, a zip code, or any of the fields you see in the table. Note that there are several hidden fields  (including age group and enforcement action), and the “Search” filter will also look for those, so if you want to find all the facilities with an enforcement action, type “probation” in the search box.
2. Advanced Search
   You can also build a more complex search, using conditions for each of the columns. Click the button that says “Add a Filter”, then select the column you want to search and then select the type of search. You can add as many filters as you need. So if you want to find all of the Licensed Child Care Centers in Kent County who take toddlers, you can do that.To restart your search, use the “Clear Filters” button to the right of the screen.

You can also sort most columns by clicking on the column headers.
