Diving Preliminary Round (Boys and Girls): Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Thomas McKean High School (tentative)

  • 5:30-6:00 pm -Diving sheet corrections
  • 5:30-7:00 pm – Diving practice
  • 7:00-8:30 pm -Preliminary Diving, 8 rounds, top (8) divers advance

Boys Preliminary Events: Thursday, February 26, 2026, at University of Delaware

  • 3:30-4:30 pm – Competitors stamped for entry
  • 4:30 pm – Coaches meeting
  • 4:30-5:50 pm – Swimming warm-ups
  • 6:00-10:00 pm – Preliminary swimming
  • Swimmers advance top 16 places to Championships

Girls Preliminary Events: Friday, February 27, 2026, at University of Delaware

  • 3:30-4:30 pm – Competitors stamped for entry
  • 4:30 pm – Coaches meeting
  • 4:30-5:50 pm – Swimming warm-ups
  • 6:00-10:00 pm – Preliminary swimming
  • Swimmers advance top 16 places to Championships

Boys Championship Events: Saturday, February 28, 2026, at University of Delaware

  • 9:30-10:00am – Competitors stamped for entry
  • 10am-10:50am – Swimming and diving warm-up
  • 11am -2:00 pm – Championship Swimming and Diving competition
    • Consolation (B-Final) and Finals (A-Final) heats for swimmers
    • Finals diving (3 rounds) for divers

Girls Championship Events: Saturday, February 28, 2026, at University of Delaware

  • 4:30-5:00pm – Competitors stamped for entry
  • 5:00-5:50pm – Swimming and diving warm-up
  • 6:00-9:00pm – Championship Swimming and Diving competition.
    • Consolation (B-Final) and Finals (A-Final) heats for swimmers
    • Finals diving (3 rounds) for divers

 

Order of Events:

The Preliminaries and Championship swimming events will be conducted in the following order:

  • 200 yd Medley Relay
  • 200 yd Freestyle
  • 200 yd Individual Medley
  • 50 yd Freestyle
  • Diving (Championships only)
    • Break / Warm-up
  • 100 yd Butterfly
  • 100 yd Freestyle
  • 500 yd Freestyle
  • 200 yd Freestyle Relay
  • 100 yd Backstroke
  • 100 yd Breaststroke
  • 400 yd. Freestyle Relay

At Championships, the Consolation (B-Final) heat will precede the Finals (A-Final) heat.

2026 Swimming & Diving Championships Ticketing Information

All ticketing for the DIAA Swimming & Diving Championships will be handled through the University of Delaware (UD) ticketing platform.

Participant Ticketing

Each event participant will receive a unique ticket code that allows the purchase of two (2) tickets for both:

  • Preliminary Rounds:
    • Boys Preliminaries – Thursday, February 26,2026
    • Girls Preliminaries – Friday, February 27, 2026
  • Championships:
    • Boys Finals – Saturday, February 28, 2026 (morning session)
    • Girls Finals – Saturday, February 28, 2026 (afternoon session)
  • One code per participant covers both event dates.

Pre-Sale Windows for Participants

Ticketing timeline for Boys Swim & Dive Championships:

  • Boys Preliminary: Thursday, February 26, 2026
    • Monday, February 23rd, 10am: Participant Pre-Sale Tickets on sale (must use unique code for up to 2 tickets per participant)
    • Tuesday, February 24th, 10 am: Any remaining tickets go on sale for General Public
  • Boys Finals: Saturday, February 28, 2026 (morning session)
    • Thursday, February 26th, Noon: Participant pre-sale tickets on sale (must use unique code for up to 2 tickets per participant).
    • Friday, February 27th, 10 am: Any remaining tickets go on sale for General Public

    • Saturday, February 28th, 10 am: Any remaining tickets go on sale for General Public

  • Any remaining tickets after the participant pre-sale will be available for public purchase through the UD ticketing site.
