Second Schedule Adjustment Announced for 2026 DIAA Basketball State Tournaments
DOVER, DE – February 24, 2026 –
Due to school closures and ongoing concerns related to weather conditions, the DIAA has made a second adjustment to the schedules for the Unified, Girls, and Boys Basketball State Tournaments. In fairness to schools across the state and while also taking into account facility availability at the University of Delaware, these updates were necessary to ensure equitable opportunities for all participating teams.

Schedule Adjustment – 2026 DIAA Swim & Diving Championships
DOVER, DE – February 23, 2026 – Due to the impacts of the recent weather event, the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA), in consultation with the DIAA Swimming & Diving Committee, has made the decision to adjust the schedule for the 2026 DIAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
All championship events will shift later by one day, while maintaining the original order of competition. All previously scheduled event times will remain the same.

Updated Basketball State Tournament Dates – Weather Adjustment
DOVER, DE – February 22, 2026 – Due to anticipated inclement weather, the DIAA has adjusted the schedules for the Unified, Girls, and Boys Basketball State Tournaments. These changes are being made to prioritize the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and successful championship experience for all participants.

2026 DIAA Individual State Wrestling Championship Brackets Released

Dover, DE – February 22, 2026 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is pleased to announce that the 2026 DIAA Individual State Wrestling Championship brackets are now available on TrackWrestling and the DIAA website. DIAA 2026 Boys Basketball State Tournament Bracket Released
DOVER, DE – February 20, 2026 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is excited to announce the official bracket for the 2026 DIAA Boys Basketball State Tournament. The tournament will feature the top 24 teams in the state, competing for the championship title.
The top eight seeds will receive a first-round bye and advance directly to the second round. The first round of the boys tournament will take place on Monday, February 23, at 6:00 PM, followed by the second round on Wednesday, February 25, at 6:00 PM, with both rounds hosted by the higher-seeded teams.
