2022-2023 DIAA Dale Farmer State Champions in Sportsmanship Winners Announced
Eleven (11) Delaware schools are being honored for sportsmanship this week by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA). The Dale Farmer State Champions in Sportsmanship award is presented annually to schools that have demonstrated a strong school community commitment to the educational nature of interscholastic athletics.
The 2022-23 Dale Farmer award is being awarded to the following schools:

2023 Harry Roberts-Senior Scholar Athletes
Dover, DE (August 14, 2023) The DIAA Board of Directors’ is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 DIAA/Harry Roberts-Senior Scholar Athlete awards. The award is named in recognition and memory of Dr. Harry Roberts, former superintendent of the Caesar Rodney School District who served DIAA on several committees, most notably as chair of the DIAA Sportsmanship Committee for many years.

2023 Boys Volleyball State Tournament
Dover, DE (May 10, 2023) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces the bracket for its 2023 Boys Volleyball state tournament. The DIAA Boys Volleyball Championships will be hosted by the higher seeded team through the semifinals, with the finals being hosted at a neutral site to be determined by the Committee. The tournament field is comprised of 16 at-large teams that were seeded by the Committee using the established Tournament criteria. All ties were broken using this set criteria. DIAA Statement on Boys Basketball Sportsmanship Incident
Dover, DE (March 3, 2023) – DIAA is aware of the incident that occurred between spectators at last night’s Seaford-Dover boys basketball second round playoff game. We appreciate the quick response by Seaford administration, security personnel and the outstanding cooperation of players, coaching staffs and spectators that allowed the game to resume after spectators were removed. DIAA reminds all spectators to honor the hard work of our student athletes and to conduct themselves appropriately when attending any DIAA event.

2023 DIAA Basketball State Championship Brackets Announced
DIAA 2023 Winter Championships Site Announcement
Dover, DE (February 21, 2023) – Sites have been announced for the upcoming Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) winter sport championships for individual wrestling, swimming and diving, boys and girls basketball and unified basketball.
The DIAA Swimming and Diving Championships will be held at the University of Delaware Carpenter Sports Building .
