Student Athlete Academic Awards Presented by Crown Trophy of Glasgow

The DIAA Student Athlete Academic Awards Presented by Crown Trophy is awarded during every DIAA sponsored championship.  Each school submits the award winner per event of the championship that the participating team competes in.  Student athlete award winners are announced before the event begins and recognized for their success in the classroom and their sport.

Award Selection Criteria:

• Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically in their sport;
• Student-athlete must have been at the school for at least a year to receive the award;
• Student-athlete is an active member on the roster and eligible for the championship;
• Student-athlete must have a 3.2 GPA and on the active team championship roster;
• Each school may nominate only one student-athlete.
