  • Unified Football Championship: 4:00 PM
  • 3A Football Championship: 7:00 PM

Notice to Championship Game Attendees at Delaware State University:
One ticket will grant entry to both the Unified and Class 3A Championship games at Delaware State University. Gates will open one hour before the Unified kickoff.

Evolv Security System – All guests are REQUIRED to walk through the Evolv Weapons Detection units prior to entering Delaware Stadium.

DIAA Football State Championships: Unified and Class 3A

Gates will open 1 hour before kick off

  • 2A Championship: 12:00pm
  • 1A Championship: 3:30pm

Evolv Security System – All guests are REQUIRED to walk through the Evolv Weapons Detection units prior to entering Delaware Stadium.

We will not be clearing the stadium in between games. One ticket will grant entry to both Championship games at Delaware State University. Gates will open one hour before the first kickoff.

Parking: Parking lots open two hours prior to kickoff for parking and tailgating. Once the second championship game begins, guests need to enter the stadium or leave the property. Patrons are NOT permitted to save spaces for friends that are arriving later. Patrons are NOT permitted to park in driveways, exits or fire lanes. All parking must be in designated spaces as directed by the parking lot staff. Tents or awnings are not to be erected in parking spaces, or in such a manner as to impede the flow of traffic or fire lane required by code. The tailgate needs to be limited to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Failure to comply could result in loss of parking privileges. Parking is free of charge.

Gate Opening for Spectators: Stadium gates open for admittance one hour prior to kickoff for the first scheduled championship game.

Bag Policy: All clear bags smaller than 16″ x 16″ x 8″ are permitted into the stadium. Backpacks are prohibited in Alumni Stadium. Bags and containers are subject to inspection by gate security once entering through the Evolv Weapons Detection units. Hard-sided coolers and bags with metal frames are not allowed.

Security: All guests will be wanded and bag checked at both the NE and NW gates upon entry. Alumni Stadium has a no re-admittance policy, which means that once you leave the stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter without having a new ticket

DIAA and DSU reserve the right to inspect and remove any packages and containers. All persons are subject to search, which includes clothing, jackets, bags and purses.

For the comfort and safety of all, the following items are NOT permitted in Alumni Stadium:

  • Bottles/Cans
  • Backpacks
  • Coolers/Ice Chests/Thermoses
  • Large bags
  • Outside food or drink
  • Weapons/Firearms
  • Banners/Signs
  • Sporting Equipment
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Noise Makers
  • Footballs
  • Open Containers of any type
  • Umbrellas
  • Video Cameras
  • Animals
  • Strollers

Permitted Items

  • One unopened bottle of water per guest
  • Small Clear bags
  • Cameras

ADA Information

  • Accessible Entrances
    • The NW gate closest to the campus is the ideal gate for entry for guests who have accessible seating.
  • Accessible Seating
    • ADA accessible seating is located in the south stands. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Accessible Restrooms
    • Accessible restrooms are located on east side of the stadium following the walking path area.
  • Accessible General Parking
    • Accessible General parking is located in Lot 1 (small lot directly in front of Alumni Stadium). DSU Police will guide guests to these parking spots after showing their Handicapped parking permit at the parking lot entrance.

Tickets for the 2025 DIAA Football State Tournament will be available for purchase online via GoFan, the official ticket platform of the DIAA. Children 4 years old and younger are admitted without charge to all games.

NFHS Football Rules Clinic: All DIAA Sports Rule Clinics are offered through the NFHSLearn platform. These IN-PERSON rules clinics are mandatory for all head coaches and officials. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification. Attendance at the in-person rules clinic is expected, with the virtual make-up option reserved only for serious scheduling conflicts.
