Notice to Championship Game Attendees at Delaware State University:
One ticket will grant entry to both the Unified and 3A Championship games at Delaware State University.

Evolv Security System – All guests are REQUIRED to walk through the Evolv Weapons Detection units prior to entering Delaware Stadium.

Parking: There is free parking in all paved lots around Alumni Stadium. There is no tailgating allowed and no parking on grass unless parking attendants provide direction. No alcoholic beverages.

Security: All guests will be wanded and bag checked at both the NE and NW gates upon entry. Re-entry is not allowed once guests enter Alumni Stadium.

DIAA and DSU reserve the right to inspect and remove any packages and containers. All persons are subject to search, which includes clothing, jackets, bags and purses.

For the comfort and safety of all, the following items are NOT permitted in Alumni Stadium:

  • Coolers/Ice Chests/Thermoses
  • Large bags
  • Outside food or drink
  • Weapons/Firearms

Notice to Championship Game Attendees at Abessinio Stadium: The stadium will be cleared at the conclusion of each championship game at Abessinio. Separate tickets will be required for entry to each game. Please plan accordingly and purchase your tickets in advance.

Parking Map

Parking lots open two hours prior to kickoff for parking and tailgating. Once the second championship game begins, guests need to enter the stadium or leave the property. Patrons are NOT permitted to save spaces for friends that are arriving later. Patrons are NOT permitted to park in driveways, exits or fire lanes. All parking must be in designated spaces as directed by the parking lot staff. Tents or awnings are not to be erected in parking spaces, or in such a manner as to impede the flow of traffic or fire lane required by code. The tailgate needs to be limited to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Failure to comply could result in loss of parking privileges. Parking is free of charge.

Bags/Backpacks Policy

Backpacks are prohibited in Abessinio Stadium. Bags and containers are subject to inspection by gate security once entering through the Evolv Weapons Detection units. Hard-sided coolers and bags with metal frames are not allowed.

Evolv Weapons Detection Units:

All guests, staff, and volunteers are required to walk through the Evolv Weapons Detection Unit & bag checks outside the main gates before entering Abessinio Stadium. Any illegal contraband is subject to be seized by security and Abessinio Stadium personnel as they see fit.

No Re-Entry

Only guests with valid tickets or credentials are permitted into the venue. Abessinio Stadium has a no re-admittance policy, which means that once you leave the stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter without having a new ticket. Please note that entry into Abessinio Stadium begins once guests/staff walk through the Evolv Weapons Detection Systems. Re-entry will NOT be allowed once guests walk through these security units.

Accessible Entrances

  • The Southwest gate closest to the Abessinio Stadium is the ideal gate for entry for guests who have accessible seating with an accessibility ramp through the main gate.

Accessible Seating

  • ADA accessible seating is located in the north and south stands. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible Restrooms

  • Accessible restrooms are located under the south side of the Grandstand and the west of the Stadium by the Concession Stand at the ATI Concourse Building.

Accessible General Parking

  • Accessible General parking is located in the first row across from the Grandstand entrance of Abessinio Stadium. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also three spots available in the ATI Concourse parking lot.

Children 4 years old and younger are admitted without charge to all games.

Tickets should be purchased in advance. No re-entrance is permitted after leaving the facility.

Football Rules Clinic

All Rules Clinics will be offered through the NFHS Learn platform.  The online rules clinics will take the place of the standard webinar format that has been used in the past.  Rules clinic participation is still mandatory and upon completion a certificate will be awarded.  Online rules clinics will be officially available for all fall coaches and officials beginning Monday, August 15th.
