DIAA Officials Requirements

  • Register and complete NFHS and DIAA payments in Dragonfly (Center for Officials Services)
  • Attendance at DIAA rules clinic
  • Passing score of 85% on NFHS Required Sport Exam (exam completed through Dragonfly)
    • Part I exam required for the following sports: Field Hockey, Boys Lacrosse, Swimming/Diving, Track & Field
    • Part II exam required for the following sports:  Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, and Wrestling (Part I exam serves as a practice exam and is therefore optional for the aforementioned sports)
    • Girls Lacrosse sport exam taken through US Lacrosse and test score should be uploaded to Dragonfly
  • Complete the NFHS “Concussion in Sports” course through NFHSlearn.com every 2 (two) years

  • Officials Fees 2024-2025

  • Per DIAA Regulation 1023.1.2.1.5.4 . Officials at an interscholastic athletic event are participants in the educational
    development of high school students. As such, they must exercise a high level of self discipline, independence and responsibility
