DIAA Announces 2022 Harry Roberts Senior Scholar-Athlete Award Winners

 

Dover, DE (May 20, 2022) The DIAA Board of Directors’ is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 DIAA/Harry Roberts-Senior Scholar Athlete awards. The award is named in recognition and memory of Dr. Harry Roberts, former superintendent of the Caesar Rodney School District who served DIAA on several committees, most notably as chair of the DIAA Sportsmanship Committee for many years.

DIAA Spring Championships Updates – May 20, 2022

Dover, DE  (May 20, 2022) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Softball and Girls Lacrosse quarterfinals are set for tomorrow. The Girls Soccer and Tennis Championships also kick off tomorrow. The Outdoor Track and Field and Unified Track championship meet is being held today and tomorrow. Due to the heat advisory issued, girls lacrosse and girls soccer will have water breaks in the middle of each half. Fans who plan to attend DIAA championship events should prepare for hot weather and take measures to stay cool, hydrated, and safe.

DIAA Softball and Girls Lacrosse Round 1 Results

Dover, DE (May 17, 2022) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Softball and Girls Lacrosse championships kicked off today with first round action.  Tickets for Softball Round 2 games will go on sale Wednesday, May 18 at 12pm through DIAA’s digital ticketing partner, GoFan.  Fans can use this link to purchase tickets for all DIAA Championship events.

DIAA 2022 Girls’ Lacrosse and Softball Championship Brackets Released

2022 DIAA Unified Track Team Championship Results

Dover, DE (May 12, 2022) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Unified Team Track Championship was held yesterday at Caesar Rodney High School. Cape Henlopen took home the championship trophy with a score of 131 while Smyrna was the runner-up with a score of 95.  Qualifying athletes will continue to compete in next weekend’s Unified Individual Track Championship at the DIAA Outdoor Track Championship on May 20 and May 21st.

DIAA 2022 Spring Championship Sites Announced

Dover, DE (May 10, 2022) – Sites have been announced for the upcoming Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) spring sport championships for baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse, girls soccer, outdoor track, tennis and golf.  Spring sport committees will meet at the time and dates listed below and the sport championship information and bracket(s) will be released shortly thereafter.  All spring sport committee meetings will be held at the Collette Education Resource Center, unless otherwise noted.  All relevant sport championship information will be posted on the individual DIAA sport pages once released.
