DIAA Soccer Committee Reveals 2022 Tournament Field

(Dover, DE) November 4, 2022 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) and the Soccer Committee met Friday morning and ranked both the Division One and Division Two fields for the 2022 DIAA Soccer Championships.

In Division One, Salesianum earned the #1 overall seed while Delcastle, the Charter School of Wilmington, and Cape Henlopen earned #2, #3, and #4 seeds, respectively. DIAA Volleyball Committee Releases 2022 Tournament Field

(Dover, DE) October 30, 2022 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) and the Volleyball Committee met Sunday morning and ranked the field of 24 teams for the 2022 DIAA Volleyball Championships.

Smyrna earned the #1 seed while Delmarva Christian, St. Mark’s, and Archmere earned #2, #3, and #4 seeds respectively. DIAA to Celebrate National High School Activities Month

Dover, DE (September 30, 2022) – In conjunction with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and its 51 state high school associations, the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is proud to celebrate National High School Activities Month during the month of October. Over the course of the month, high schools across the State of Delaware are encouraged to promote the values inherent in high school athletics and other activities such as speech, debate, music, and theatre.

DIAA Announces 2021-2022 Dale Farmer State Champions in Sportsmanship Award Winners

Dover, DE (September 13, 2022) – Fifteen (15) Delaware schools are being honored for sportsmanship this week by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA).

The Dale Farmer State Champions in Sportsmanship award is presented annually to schools that have demonstrated a strong school community commitment to the educational nature of interscholastic athletics.  The 2021–2022 Dale Farmer award is being awarded to the following schools:

DIAA Statement on DFOA Officials

Dover, DE (August 19, 2022) – DIAA is aware of recent information shared with media outlets by the Delmarva Football Officials Association (DFOA) regarding a work stoppage for football officials that could potentially impact the upcoming football season’s games for Henlopen Conference schools.

Bell Named DIAA Coordinator of Interscholastic Athletics

 

Dover, DE (June 21, 2022) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) are pleased to announce James “Jed” Bell as DIAA’s new coordinator of interscholastic athletics.  Bell will be responsible for DIAA internal operations, compliance, sportsmanship, rules clinics, media credentials, officials registration and testing, game programs, manuals, tournament brackets, games programs and other duties as assigned.  He will be the sport contact for cross country, track, boys and girls soccer, boys lacrosse, swimming, tennis, baseball, and assist with football.
