2025 DIAA State Tournament Updates – Thursday, May 29
Dover, DE – May 29, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) congratulates the teams that have advanced to the championships after an action-packed day of semifinal competition on Thursday. Below is a recap of the results.
Girls Lacrosse – Semifinal Results
The 2025 DIAA Girls Lacrosse Championship Game is set following the conclusion of the semifinal round on Thursday, May 29. The championship game will feature #1 Cape Henlopen vs #2 Tower Hill.

DIAA Announces Schedule Change for 2025 Softball Championship
Dover, DE – May 29, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) has announced a schedule change for the 2025 DIAA Softball State Championship due to the forecast of severe weather, including lightning storms.
The championship game between #2 Caravel and #12 Sussex Tech has been rescheduled and will now be played on Monday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the University of Delaware’s Delaware Diamond.
DIAA thanks the schools, student-athletes, families, and fans for their understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the safety of all participants and work to provide the best possible championship experience.

DIAA Announces Schedule Change for DIAA Baseball Semifinals and Championship
Dover, DE – May 28, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) has announced a change to the schedule for the 2025 Baseball State Tournament Semifinals and Championship.
The Baseball Semifinals will now be played at Frawley Stadium on Friday, May 30, with the following matchups:
#4 Salesianum vs. #1 Cape Henlopen – 12:00 PM
#2 Sussex Central vs. #6 Conrad – 3:00 PM
