Goaltending and Basket Interference Addressed in 2025-26 Basketball Rules Changes
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 28, 2025) —
A trio of changes to address when goaltending and basket interference are called are among the changes to high school basketball rules for the 2025-26 season.
These revisions to the NFHS Basketball Rules Book are among the six changes recommended by the Basketball Rules Committee during its April 28-30 meeting in Indianapolis – all of which were subsequently approved by the NFHS Board of Directors.

Dover, DE – June 2, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces the 2025 DIAA Softball State Champion: the No. 2 seed Caravel Academy Buccaneers.
In a thrilling championship matchup held at the University of Delaware’s Delaware Diamond, Caravel Academy secured the state title with a 3-2 victory over the No. 12 seed Sussex Technical High School Ravens.

In the championship matchup held at Frawley Stadium, the No. 1 seed Cape Henlopen High School Vikings captured the title with a hard-fought 6-4 victory over the No. 6 seed Conrad Schools of Science Red Wolves. 2025 DIAA State Tournament Updates – Friday, May 30
Dover, DE – May 30, 2025 – The 2025 DIAA Baseball Championship Game is set following the conclusion of the semifinal round on Friday, May 30.
In the first semifinal game, #1 seed Cape Henlopen Vikings defeated #4 Salesianum School, 9-2. In the second semifinal game, #6 Conrad Red Wolves secured a 5-2 victory over #2 Sussex Central Golden Knights.
The championship game will feature #1 Cape Henlopen High School vs #6 Conrad Schools of Science.
