2026 DIAA Softball State Champions Crowned
Dover, DE – May 29, 2026 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces the 2026 DIAA Softball State Champion: the No. 1 seed Caravel Academy Buccaneers.
In a competitive championship matchup held at the University of Delaware’s Delaware Diamond, Caravel Academy secured the state title with a 5-0 victory over the No. 3 seed Sussex Central High School Golden Knights.

DIAA Boys & Girls Lacrosse Semifinals Set
Dover, DE – May 23, 2026 – Congratulations to the boys and girls lacrosse teams that advanced in the DIAA State Lacrosse Tournaments following quarterfinal action today. With quarterfinal competition now complete, the semifinal field is officially set for Wednesday, May 27, with all semifinal games to be played at the higher seeded school.

Dover, DE – May 20, 2026 – Congratulations to the boys and girls lacrosse teams that advanced in DIAA State Tournament action. Girls Lacrosse Round 2 games were completed today, with additional Round 2 matchups scheduled for tomorrow to finalize the quarterfinal field. Dover, DE – May 19, 2026 – Tuesday night brought another exciting series of DIAA State Tournament action across multiple sports, as teams and student-athletes continued their pursuit of a state championship. Boys Volleyball semifinal matchups took center stage, while the Boys and Girls Lacrosse State Tournaments continued with Round 1 competition. The Softball State Tournament officially got underway, and the DIAA Tennis State Championships advanced through semifinal play to set the stage for Wednesday’s finals. 2026 DIAA Girls Soccer Official Bracket Release
Dover, DE – May 19, 2026 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is proud to announce the official brackets for the 2026 DIAA Girls Soccer Division I and Division II State Championships.
