Girls Basketball Championship

  • Last day of competition – Thursday, February 20, 2025
  • Committee Meeting – Friday, February 21, 2025
  • 1st Round Games – Monday, February 24, 2025
  • 2nd Round Games – Wednesday, February 26, 2025
  • Quarterfinals – Saturday, March 1 – Sunday, March 2, 2025
  • Semifinals – Wednesday, March 5, 2025 (6:00pm & 8:00pm)
  • Finals – Sunday, March 9, 2025 (7:00pm)

Due to weather-related cancellations, the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) extended the basketball season by one additional day to accommodate rescheduled games. The final day of competition:  Thursday, February 20, 2025.

2025 DIAA Girls Basketball State Tournament Bracket

The top eight seeds will receive a first-round bye and advance directly to the second round.

The first round of the girls tournament will take place on Saturday, February 24, at 6:00 PM, followed by the second round on Monday, February 26, at 6:00 PM, with both rounds hosted by the higher-seeded teams.

The quarterfinals will be held at neutral sites on March 1-2, with times and locations to be announced.

The semifinals will take place at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center on Wednesday, March 5, with games scheduled for 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

The championship game will be held on Sunday, March 9, at 7:00 PM at the University of Delaware. 

Tickets for semi-finals and finals hosted at the University of Delaware, Bob Carpenter Center, will be on sale through the University of Delaware.

Tickets for the 2025 DIAA Girls Basketball Round 1, Round 2 and Quarterfinals will be available for purchase online via GoFan, the official ticket platform of the DIAA.  https://gofan.co/app/school/DIAA
