Fall Sports

Each fall season, the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) crowns 13 state champions across a range of sports, including field hockey, boys soccer, cross country, football, volleyball, and unified flag football.

DIAA organizes fall championships by division or class as follows:

  • Field Hockey, Boys Soccer, and Cross Country (Boys & Girls) — Teams compete in Division I and Division II classifications.

  • Football — Teams are classified into three classes, Class 1A, Class 2A, and Class 3A.
