2026 DIAA Boys Basketball Championship Match Set

DOVER, DE – March 11, 2026 – The 2026 DIAA Boys Basketball Semifinals delivered two competitive matchups as teams battled for a spot in the state championship.

 

No. 4 St. Georges upset top-seeded Dover with a hard-fought (63-57) victory, while No. 2 Howard edged No. 3 William Penn (52-45) in another tightly contested semifinal to secure a spot in the title game.

 

The championship showdown between #2 Howard High School of Technology and #4 St. Georges Technical High School is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 7:00 PM at the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center. 

 

Ticket & Broadcast Information: 

Tickets for the Boys Basketball Championship game will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 13 at 12:00 PM through UD Ticketing. 

 

Tickets can be purchased through University of Delaware Ticketing.
