2026 DIAA Girls Basketball Championship Match Set

DOVER, DE – March 10, 2026 – The matchup is set for the 2026 DIAA Girls Basketball State Championship following an exciting semifinal round.

No. 1 Sanford secured a spot in the title game with a 60-39 victory over No. 4 Smyrna, while No. 3 St. Elizabeth punched its ticket with a 56-40 win over No. 15 Ursuline.

 

The championship showdown between #1 Sanford and #3 St. Elizabeth is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 1:00 PM at the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center. 

 

Ticket & Broadcast Information: 

Tickets for the Girls Basketball Championship game will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 13 at 12:00 PM through UD Ticketing. One ticket provides entry to both the Unified and Girls Championships. The Girls Basketball Championship will be the first game in the championship doubleheader (1:00PM), followed by the DIAA Unified Basketball State Championship at 3:00PM.

 

Fans attending the Unified game should purchase a ticket for the Girls Basketball Championship, which will grant admission to both games.

 

Tickets can be purchased through University of Delaware Ticketing.
