DIAA Unified & Girls Basketball Semifinals are Set

DOVER, DE – March 6, 2026 – The 2026 DIAA Unified Basketball and Girls Basketball State Tournaments continued Friday night with an exciting Quarterfinal round, officially setting the stage for the Semifinals. Several competitive matchups highlighted the evening as teams battled for a spot in the next round. See below for final scores from tonight’s Quarterfinal games.

Unified Basketball – Quarterfinal Final Scores 

#1 Dover 41 – #9 Appoquinimink 24

#2 Caesar Rodney 56 – #10 Polytech 39

Unified Basketball Semifinals – Monday, March 9, at 4:00 PM.

Unified Semifinal games will be played at the higher-seeded team’s home site. No tickets are required for Unified Basketball games until the finals at University of Delaware.

Girls Basketball Semifinals – Tuesday, March 10

#1 Sanford vs #4 Smyrna – 6:00 PM

#3 St. Elizabeth vs #15 Ursuline – 8:00 PM

The DIAA Girls Basketball Semifinal games will be played on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center on the campus of the University of Delaware. The complete 2026 Unified and Girls Basketball State Championship brackets are available on DIAA’s website.
