DIAA Announces Schedule Change for 2025 Softball Championship

Dover, DE – May 29, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) has announced a schedule change for the 2025 DIAA Softball State Championship due to the forecast of severe weather, including lightning storms.

The championship game between #2 Caravel and #12 Sussex Tech has been rescheduled and will now be played on Monday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the University of Delaware’s Delaware Diamond.

DIAA thanks the schools, student-athletes, families, and fans for their understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the safety of all participants and work to provide the best possible championship experience.
