2025 DIAA State Tournament Updates – Thursday, May 29
Dover, DE – May 29, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) congratulates the teams that have advanced to the championships after an action-packed day of semifinal competition on Thursday. Below is a recap of the results.
Girls Lacrosse – Semifinal Results
The 2025 DIAA Girls Lacrosse Championship Game is set following the conclusion of the semifinal round on Thursday, May 29. The championship game will feature #1 Cape Henlopen vs #2 Tower Hill.

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM
Location: Caesar Rodney High School
(Boys Lacrosse Championship will follow at 3:00 PM)

#1 Cape Henlopen 19, #5 Sussex Academy 3
#2 Tower Hill 12, #3 Caesar Rodney 11 (Overtime)

Girls Soccer – Semifinal Results
The 2025 DIAA Division I and Division II Girls Soccer Championship matches are set following the conclusion of the semifinals on Thursday, May 29. The DI Championship match will feature #1 Appoquinimink High School vs #2 Middletown High School. The DII Championship match will feature #1 Caravel Academy vs #2 Saint Mark’s High School.
