DIAA 2023 Dual-Team Wrestling Championship Results

Dover, DE (February 20, 2023) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Dual-Team Wrestling Championship was held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Smyrna High School and the DI and DII champions were crowned.  Salesianum School won its second championship while Delaware Military Academy won their first ever Dual Team Wrestling championship.

Division I Results

  • Final Round: Salesianum defeated Cape Henlopen 36-27.
  • Semifinal Round: Salesianum defeated Sussex Central 29-28.
  • Semifinal Round: Cape Henlopen defeated Caesar Rodney 34-32.

DIVISION II Results

  • Final Round: Delaware Military Academy defeated Caravel Academy 36-24.
  • Caravel Academy defeated Saint Mark`s 44-25.
  • Delaware Military Academy defeated Tower Hill HS 59-21.

Congratulations to the 2023 Wrestling Student Athlete Academic Award winners presented by Crown Trophy.  Winners were announced during every round of the Dual Team Wrestling Championship.

Division of Public Health’s Tobacco Prevention Educational Campaign through DIAA

DIAA is proud to be a recipient of the Delaware Division of Public Health’s Tobacco Prevention Community Contract. Funding for the Contract is provided by the Delaware Health Fund and managed by the American Lung Association in Delaware. To provide parents with a simple roadmap to address the dangers of vaping with kids, “Get Your Head Out of the Cloud” has free educational resources including a conversation guide, which can be found by visiting, TalkAboutVaping.org
