2021 DIAA Volleyball – Round One Results and Round 2 Schedule
Dover, DE (November 5, 2021) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) 2021 Volleyball Championship first round matches were completed over the past two nights. Round 2 action tips off tonight. Refer to the bracket for times and location.
Round 1 Results and Round 2 Match Ups
#17 Tower Hill defeated #16 Archmere (18-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-11) on Wednesday. Tower Hill will face #1 Saint Mark’s tonight.
#13 Delaware Military Academy defeated #20 Polytech (25-16, 27-25, 25-18). Delaware Military Academy will face #4 Charter School of Wilmington tonight.
#15 Smyrna defeated #18 Concord (25-20, 25-15, 25-13). Smyrna will face #2 Padua tonight.
#14 Ursuline defeated #19 Appoquinimink (25-8, 25-14, 25-11). Ursuline will face #3 Red Lion Christian Academy tonight.
#9 Caravel defeated #24 MOT Charter (25-15, 25-8, 27-29, 25-13). This was MOT Charter’s first ever bid to the DIAA volleyball championship. Caravel will face #8 Delmarva Christian tomorrow night.
#12 Caesar Rodney defeated #21 Cape Henlopen (25-17, 19-25, 25-8, 25-23). Caesar Rodney will face #5 Newark Charter tomorrow night.
#10 Middletown defeated #23 Conrad School of Sciences (25-15, 25-16, 25-23). Middletown will play #7 Dover tomorrow night.
#11 Sussex Central defeated #22 Lake Forest (25-15, 25-23, 25-19). Sussex Central will play #6 Wilmington Friends tomorrow night.
