2025 DIAA Softball State Champions Crowned

Dover, DE – June 2, 2025 –  The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces the 2025 DIAA Softball State Champion: the No. 2 seed Caravel Academy Buccaneers.

In a thrilling championship matchup held at the University of Delaware’s Delaware Diamond, Caravel Academy secured the state title with a 3-2 victory over the No. 12 seed Sussex Technical High School Ravens.

DIAA commends both teams for their impressive journeys to the championship. We extend our deepest appreciation to the DIAA Softball Committee for their leadership and commitment throughout the season. A special thanks goes to the University of Delaware and their staff for providing a top-tier venue for this year’s state semifinals and finals.

Congratulations to all student-athletes, coaches, and schools who participated in the 2025 DIAA Softball State Tournament. Your hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication helped make this season one to remember.
