DIAA Crowns 2025 Boys, Girls, and Unified Basketball State Champions

DOVER, DE – March 9, 2025 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) proudly congratulates the champions of the 2025 DIAA Basketball State Championships. After an exciting tournament season, three teams emerged victorious, showcasing their talent, determination, and sportsmanship on the court.

2025 DIAA Unified Basketball State Champions – Indian River High School 

In an electrifying final, #4 Indian River High School secured the DIAA Unified Basketball State Championship with a thrilling 35-34 victory over #2 Caesar Rodney High School. The championship game came down to the wire, with Indian River clinching the title on a buzzer-beater finish.

2025 DIAA Boys Basketball State Champions – Sanford School 

#6 Sanford School pulled off an upset over #1 Dover High School, capturing the DIAA Boys Basketball State Championship with a 37-34 victory.

2025 DIAA Girls Basketball State Champions – Caravel Academy

#1 Caravel Academy emerged victorious in the 2025 DIAA Girls Basketball State Championship with a 53-37 victory over #7 St. Elizabeth School.
