DIAA Boys & Girls Basketball Quarterfinals Set After Thrilling Round 2 Action

DOVER, DE – February 27, 2025 – The stage is set for the 2025 DIAA Boys & Girls Basketball State Tournament Quarterfinals, taking place on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2. The competition heats up as the remaining teams battle for a coveted spot in the semifinals. 

The schedule for the Quarterfinals is as follows: 

Saturday, March 1 

Location: Salesianum School 

  • Girls Quarterfinal: #1 Caravel Academy vs #8 Padua Academy @ 12:00 PM 
  • Boys Quarterfinal: #2 St. Elizabeth HS vs #7 Howard HS of Tech @ 2:30 PM 

Location: Dover High School 

  • Girls Quarterfinal: #3 Smyrna HS vs #6 Sanford School @ 4:30 PM 
  • Boys Quarterfinal: #14 Cape Henlopen HS vs #6 Sanford School @ 7:00 PM 

 

Sunday, March 2 

Location: Saint Mark’s High School 

  • Girls Quarterfinal: #2 Delaware Military Academy vs # 7 St. Elizabeth HS @ 1:00 PM 
  • Boys Quarterfinal: #4 St. Georges Technical HS vs #12 Smyrna HS @ 3:30 PM

Ticket & Broadcast Information: 

Tickets for the 2025 DIAA Girls & Boys Basketball Quarterfinals will be available for purchase online via GoFan, the official ticket platform of the DIAA.  https://gofan.co/app/school/DIAA 

Quarterfinals tickets for the public will go on sale Friday, February 28 at 2:00 PM. Presale tickets will be made available for each school ahead of public ticket sales at 8:00 AM on Friday, February 28. School administrators will receive the presale links to distribute to their communities. One ticket provides entry to both boys’ and girls’ quarterfinal doubleheader games at the designated host site.
