2024 DIAA Football State Champions Crowned Across All Divisions

Dover, DE – December 1, 2024 – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is proud to announce the results of the 2024 Football State Championships across all divisions, showcasing exceptional talent and competition.

Championship Results:

Class 3A:

#3 Middletown High School defeated #1 Salesianum School 30-27 in a thrilling overtime showdown.

Class 1A:

#1 Indian River High School triumphed over #2 Tatnall School in a nail-biting contest, securing a 47-45 victory.

Class 2A:

#1 Caravel Academy defeated #3 Howard High School with a decisive 43-6 win.

Unified Flag Football:

#3 Indian River defeated #1 Caesar Rodney in an exciting 45-32 matchup.

DIAA congratulates the players, coaches, and school communities for their dedication and outstanding performances throughout the tournament. DIAA extends its heartfelt gratitude to Delaware State University and Abessinio Stadium for hosting this year’s championship games, providing outstanding facilities and championship atmospheres for players and fans alike.
