2023 DIAA Basketball State Championship Brackets Announced

Dover, DE (February 24, 2023) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces the brackets for its 2023 girls, boys, and unified basketball tournament. The DIAA Basketball Championships will be hosted by the higher seeded team through the quarterfinals. The boys and girls semifinals and unified, boys and girls finals will be held at the University of Delaware.  The boys and girls basketball tournament field will comprise of 24 teams, six automatic qualifying teams and 18 at-large teams, while unified basketball will conduct a 14 team open tournament.
Please be advised the boys basketball bracket has been corrected for the 4th, 5th and 6th place seeded teams to ensure the correct tie breaking procedure was followed.  Please direct all inquires to Brian Fahey, DIAA Boys Basketball Committee Chair at diaa@doe.k12.de.us.

Ticket Information

Tickets for girls and boys first round games will go on sale Sunday, February 26, at 3:00pm.  No cash tickets will be sold onsite at championship events and all tickets for the first, second, and quarterfinal rounds must be purchased through GoFan.  Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time.  Tickets for the semifinals and finals which will be held at the University of Delaware, can be purchased through the University’s digital ticket vendor.  More ticket information for the semifinals and finals will be released later next week.

First, Second, Quarterfinal rounds – $5.00 Students (K-12) and Adults, Kids Under 4 – free

Semifinal & Finals – $10.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
Live Streaming
NFHSNetwork is the partner of the DIAA State Championship and will select certain games to stream live.  Broadcast fees apply except for livestreams by school-owned websites or school controlled webpages.  Check each host school website for livestreaming information for first round through quarterfinal round games.  NFHS Network will pick up all semifinal and final round games.
