2022 DIAA Outdoor Track Championship Results

Dover, DE (May 25, 2022) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet was held this past weekend at Dover High School.  In Division 1 girls, Padua Academy won their 8th straight championship, with a score of (211.50).  This is Padua’s 20th overall girls outdoor track state title since 1983.  Salesianum won their 3rd straight Division 1 boys outdoor track championship with a score of (170).  This is Salesianum’s 19th overall boys outdoor track state title since 1971.  In Division 2, St. Mark’s and Tatnall were named girls co-champions with a score of (167).  This is St. Mark’s 2nd straight girls outdoor track state title and Tatnall’s 11th girls outdoor track title since 2007.  This is only the 3rd time in DIAA outdoor track history that a co-champion has been awarded; most recently occurring in 2016 (Division 2 Boys – Tatnall and St. Georges co-champions) and in 1999 (Division 1 Girls – Dover and William Penn co-champions.)  St. Mark’s boys won the Division 2 title with a score of 97, their first boys outdoor state track championship in school history.
