Pairings Set for the 2022 DIAA Golf Championship

Dover, DE (May 25, 2022) The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Golf committee met yesterday and selected the 96 player tournament field for the 2022 DIAA Golf Championship.  The tournament is set to tee-off next Tuesday, May 31 continuing through Wednesday, June 1 at Odessa National Golf Club in Townsend, DE.

The Round 1 Pairing List and link for the live leaderboard can be found by visiting the DIAA Golf sport page and the Delaware State Golf Association (DSGA) leaderboard throughout the championship for live scoring results.

This year’s championship will have separate leader boards and medals for girls and boys. There will be no overall champion named; rather the top 5 males and top 5 female golfers will receive recognition and medallions. In the event of a tie for fifth place, medallions will be awarded to those tied for fifth.

The tournament field includes 11 schools with 4 to 6 golfers entered which makes them eligible to compete for the team championship. Those schools are:

Archmere 6 (DSAC)

Caesar Rodney 6 (HAC)

Wilmington Charter 5 (DSAC)

Salesianum 6 (NC)

St. Marks 5 (NC)

Polytech 6 (HAC)

SAAS 6 (HAC)

Tatnall 5 (DISC)

Tower Hill 6 (DISC)

Dover 4 (HAC)

Cape Henlopen 5 (HAC)
