2019 Boys Soccer Tournament Bracket Released

Dover, DE (November 1, 2019) – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) announces its official 2019 Boys’ Soccer Championship brackets for Division 1 and 2.  The below links will guide you to the full brackets:

In Division I, Salesianum earned the #1 seed and Appoquinimink, Caesar Rodney and Charter round out the top 4 seeds. Quarterfinal games will be on Saturday, November 9 with #1 Salesianum vs. #8 Sussex Central, #2 Appoquinimink vs. #7 William Penn, #3 Caesar Rodney vs. #6 Middletown and #4 Charter vs. #5 Polytech. Times and locations for these matches can be found on the full bracket. The semifinals and finals will take place at Dover High School on Wednesday, November 13 and Saturday, November 16.

 In Division II, Archmere Academy earned the #1 seed while Wilmington Friends School, Indian River High School and Newark High School earned #2, #3 and #4 seeds respectively.  Round one games for Division II are scheduled for Tuesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 6. On Tuesday, November 5 the tournament kicks off with Dover High School hosting double header matches starting at 6pm with #8 St. Mark’s vs. #9 St. Andrew’s followd by #7 Sussex Academy vs. #10 Newark Charter at 6pm. On Wednesday, Caravel Academy will host #5 Tower Hill vs. #12 Dickinson at 6pm and #6 Brandywine and #11 Conrad at 8pm.  Quarterfinal matches for Division II are scheduled for Saturday, November 9 at Caravel and Smyrna, Semi-final matches will be on Wednesday, November 13 at Smyrna while the Championship match will start at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 16 at Dover. 

The tournament field is comprised of conference champions and fourteen at-large teams.  The conference champions were:

Tickets will be available each day at the site of the event one hour prior to start time.  First, second, quarterfinal round tickets are $5.00, Semi-final round $6.00 and the Championship Final is $7.00.
