Nomination Statement

“Priya Gupta, daughter of Omprakash and Madhulata Gupta of Dover, combines intellectual curiosity with a desire to make a difference in her world. Her academic success is reflected in her selection to the Governor’s School for Excellence, her recognition as a National AP Scholar, as well as numerous top placings in state and regional technology competitions. Her leadership is extensive both in school and in community activities and includes three terms as a state officer in the Technology Student Association (TSA) and her recent selection as a National TSA officer. Priya plans to major in environmental engineering at Columbia University.”
