The Delaware Sapphire Award for Excellence in School Counseling recognizes school counseling programs that are comprehensive, data-informed and designed to serve all students. This award is open to all Delaware public school districts and charter schools.

Eligible school counseling programs must be implemented by a state certified school counselor. Schools that earn the Sapphire Award are expected to complete all steps necessary to receive the American School Counselors Association (ASCA) RAMP distinction.
