Nomination Statement

“Sheyenne Faircloth is William Penn’s senior class president, the district board’s student representative, and an active member of her community. She is a member of National Honors Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Philosophy Club. She has also participated in two varsity sports at WPHS, basketball and volleyball which she played for four and three years, respectively. Despite her hefty extracurricular pursuits, she has maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.25. Sheyenne’s post-secondary plans currently include obtaining her bachelors degree in English and possibly pursuing a career in academia and/or as a writer.”

“I am proud of my accomplishments, and I’m thankful to God and everyone who has supported me thus far, especially the incomparable support system I’ve been afforded at WPHS. When I’ve been burdened by responsibilities, or simply struggling under all of the pressure, several individuals have constantly listened, reassured, and guided me selflessly. Not to mention, my rock of a mother who is the ultimate display of drive and hard work, and continuously puts her best foot forward.”
