Nomination Statement

“Son of Mike and Anna Adkins, Jacob is a dedicated and responsible student. Jacob plans to pursue a career in business economics. Jacob is currently ranked second in his class with a 4.9826 cumulative grade point average. Jacob is the business manager of the Yearbook and president of Business Professionals of America, Key Club and the Student Government Association. Additionally, he is treasurer of the Honor Society and broadcast director of his church. Jacob is a well-rounded student, enjoying serving at his church, competing in sports and striving for the best in his classes.”

“For as long as I can remember, I alway remember my parents pushing me to do the best that I could in anything that I did because ‘if you are going to do something, you are going to do it with 110%.’ I took this saying not only in my personal activities but in my academics as well. Success is never guaranteed, it is earned, and hard work is the first step to success, followed by leadership and initiative.”
