Nomination Statement

“Daughter of Stephanie and Gregory Knutsen, Bethany Knutsen is a hardworking, intellectual and ambitious student at Woodbridge High School. She is currently ranked No. 1 in her graduating class with a 4.2 cumulative grade point average. Bethany is currently Woodbridge’s FFA president, holds multiple positions in 4-H and is an athlete on the field hockey, soccer, and cross country team. She has managed her time wisely; while attending school and involving herself in extracurricular activities, she also works two jobs. Bethany plans to attend Delaware Valley University to pursue a degree in crop sciences.”

“High expectations and grit to succeed have always inspired me to do well. My coaches taught me to keep pushing even when I’m tired. Living on a farm I’ve learned the importance of ‘you reap what you sow.’ My parents have always made me compete in public speaking events and have driven me to achieve high grades. I have always kept myself busy and signed up for extracurricular activities and competitions to learn valuable life skills for a successful future. ”
