Nomination Statement

“Maria has been a valued member of our Freire family and exemplifies the key qualities of leadership, hard work, and compassion. By graduation, Maria will have taken every AP course offered by our school, yet she thrives and always finds time to help a peer or friend in need. She serves as president of the senior class and the National Honor Society and established the Skills Beyond High School club to further support her peers. She has been a dedicated member of several clubs, managed multiple athletic teams, and still found time to work outside of school.”
