“Being born in a third-world country, I did not have many educational opportunities when I was young. However, this motivated me to take advantage of all the opportunities available to me when I moved to the US. I wanted to give myself the best chance for success in the future. My Caribbean heritage inspired me to continue challenging myself daily while also remaining a compassionate, respectful, and humble person.”
