Nomination Statement

“Daughter of Sandhya Verma-Higgins and Matthew Higgins of Dover, Emma Higgins is an exceptional student and young lady who excels in school and in community involvement. Emma is a NHS member and highly ranked member of her senior class of 488 students. Through her participation in Caesar Rodney’s agricultural program and the FFA, Emma demonstrates a passion for learning and the awareness to share her knowledge with others. Emma also regularly volunteers her time throughout the community, further demonstrating her giving nature. Emma is incredibly hardworking and driven. She plans on majoring in agricultural communications in college this fall.”
