Nomination Statement
Jacob Smith is the son of Ed Smith and Anne Kaplan of Wilmington. Jacob is a quick-witted and strategic thinker in both the classroom and athletics. Jacob ranks first in his class, with a weighted GPA of 4.554. Jacob has participated in wrestling and volleyball throughout his entire high school career, serving as captain in both sports. He enjoys spending time with his friends and participating in new activities. Jacob plans to major in biomedical engineering with thoughts of pursuing medical school after college.
