Nomination Statement
The daughter of Judith and Armin Kostic, Valentina has been a high achiever since entering Conrad Schools of Science in the 6th grade, both in and out of the classroom. Valentina has been a competitive dancer most of her life, while also tackling field hockey and lacrosse during her high school career. This was all done while Valentina challenged herself with the most rigorous schedule of courses each year. Ranking second in her class with a GPA of 5.19, Valentina plans on attending North Carolina State University to major in nuclear engineering.
“My family has always supported me through my dreams and any hardships that I faced in my life. Any goal I achieve I want to dedicate to them and my younger self, for she is the one who struggled to get us where we are today.”
