Nomination Statement
Nathan Zhao is a self-motivated student who is driven to succeed. Not only does Nathan strive for academic success, he is a leader within the school community. He is president of Computer Science Club, Biology Club leader, leader of Chemistry Club, and is deputy editor-in-chief for the school’s newspaper Club Webmaster. Nathan’s achievements and leadership are accomplished through his self-discipline and extreme work ethic. He aspires to pursue a degree in the engineering field at a school with a competitive program.
“Something I've realized throughout high school is that you are what you make of yourself. Whether putting my complete effort into studying for olympiad competitions, leading science clubs, or conducting materials research, I made this idea my reality. In the future, I'll continue with my convictions: no matter what interest, I'll dedicate myself fully. Above all, I hope to help others find their passions through volunteering and further integration of technology into our society, I strive to improve educational access.”
