Nomination Statement
Natalie has earned a rank of Sgt Major. She is a talented and determined individual who excels in many academic areas as well as in the MC JROTC program. She is passionate about learning to become a successful student and a future leader. Natalie participates in many extracurricular activities and significantly contributed to the school with endless hours of community services that she does with an open heart.
“My mother is now the executive director of a disability rights non-profit, and it all started with my late brother who acquired a severe anoxic brain injury ten years ago. She never failed to advocate for him regardless of the sacrifice it required. This has taught me two vital life lessons: if you are willing to work for it, it can be done, and there is always a way to be a positive light, you just have to find it.”
