Nomination Statement
Daughter of Kimberly and Kelly Countryman. Kylee combines curiosity, motivation, determination, and passion ideally. She is an AP Scholar with Distinction and received the Dartmouth Award in 2022. Kylee has been a Delaware Student Success Student Ambassador and a Speech and Debate Program member for the last two years. She is the President of the 2022-2023 Senior Class and the National Honor Society and a United States Senate Youth Program Representative. Kylee will major in Political Science and Government, and her top pick university is Georgetown University.
“Growing up, I had an insatiable hunger for curiosity which often led me into trouble. Despite this, there was one person that stuck by my side. I owe my life, accomplishments, and drive to my mother. She showed me what it meant to be a strong woman. Without her sacrifices, I would have never been able to immerse myself in different opportunities and hopefully make her proud. Thank you mom for always showing up, even when it was hard!”
