Nomination Statement
Daughter of Torie and Timothy MacNamara, cadet Giada MacNamara is the top-ranking Regimental Commanding Officer in DMA’s Naval JROTC program. She is driven, hardworking, and ambitious and ranks first in her class with an impressive 4.45 GPA. In addition to her NJROTC responsibilities, Giada is a member of the Drill Team, BPA, and National Honor Society. She holds officer positions for the Science Olympiad competitive team and Mock Trial team and is the captain of DMA’s varsity swim team. Cadet MacNamara will continue her education at the United States Naval Academy where she will major in engineering. Bravo Zulu!

Without them, I would not have been able to achieve my dreams. Another motivation that I’ve had has been my desire to attend the United States Naval Academy. I’ve always strived to reach my full potential in all things to help prepare myself for this future endeavor.”
