Nomination Statement
Daughter of Oana and John Cullen, Eva Christina Cullen, is motivated and intelligent. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma student and currently has a 4.70 GPA. She is a student ambassador for DOE, founder of the Sussex Astronomy Association and SCHS’s chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, member of the Math League and National Art Honor Society as well as Student Body executive treasurer. In addition, she has been a liaison with the Research Triangle Institute and was a model rocketry volunteer. She plans to study astrophysics and public policy in college, ultimately working in planetary defense and space policy.

Motivated by my mother’s journey as an immigrant and her unwavering determination to overcome challenges, I strive to pursue my own dreams and be the success she never had the opportunity to realize.”
